In the Twilight New Moon DVD movie Bella is being thrown an 18th birthday party by the Cullens, a paper cut to Bella starts a family blood lust among the vampire family, they decide to leave town to protect Bella from their desires based on research. She misses Edward and finds that she is able to "see" him if she rides a motorcycle. So she gets her friend Jacob to help her fix an old motorcycle. She is attracted to him, but since he is a werewolf he pushes her away again as the Cullens did to protect her. Bella has a motorcycle accident which Edward hears about but thinks she is dead and is going to commit suicide. Will Bella be able to find him in time to save him from what he intends to do?
Many of the scenes from Stephanie Meyer's Twilight New Moon book were edited out of the movie according to research.
